Doctor of Philosophy Program in Agricultural and Resource Economics (International Program)

The international program was launched in 2005 and remains the only doctoral program of its discipline in Thailand. It aims at enchanting the analytical skills of mid-career, professionals and promising young academicians, with emphasis on empirical and applied research in agricultural and resource economics, The regular three-year program requires a total of not less than 49 credits with two options.
Option 1.1 requires the major courses of at least 10 credits (audits) with the minimum 49 credits for thesis.
Option 2.1 requires the major courses of at least 13 credits with the minimum 36 credits for thesis.

Focusing on agricultural economics and policy, economic development, and resources and environmental economics, the program provides quantitative skills and critical thinking. Our graduates work in the government and non-government sectors both at the national and international levels.
